13 Action News Partners With VGK For 13 Days And Knights Of Giving

VEGAS (October 21, 2019) - KTNV-TV, 13 Action News and the Vegas Golden Knights proudly present 13 Connects: "The 13 Days and Knights of Giving."
Now in its second year, this one of a kind, community impact program, powered by a special partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights and the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, encourages the Las Vegas community to come together and nominate 13 individuals and or organizations who need a miracle.
"We're incredibly proud to partner with the Vegas Golden Knights and the VGK Foundation on this amazing initiative," says Chris Way, vice president and general manager KTNV-TV. "We encourage our community to share stories of people or organizations in our community that have a critical need in the areas of homelessness, health care, hunger, education, military, first responder or youth sports."

"Last season, KTNV-13 did an amazing job with "The 13 Days and Knights of Giving," said Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz. "We are excited to partner with them this season and do our part in helping share stories of people or organizations in our community and their critical needs."
KTNV-TV is asking Southern Nevadans to go online at ktnv.com/13days and complete the online entry informational form. From the hundreds of nominations, a team of judges will choose the 13 most compelling stories and that's when the magic happens. The Vegas Golden Knights and The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation put together miraculous gifts that transform lives.
KTNV-TV will share these stories for 13 consecutive days over the holiday season and bring the recipients together for a culminating event to show these individuals; who have often been struggling financially, physically or emotionally, how deeply they are cared about by their community and celebrate the power of this shared mission.
